It’s peak time for wild flowers, the countryside is lush and the hedgerows, downland and meadows are bursting with growth. Orchids are flowering but for something a little less subtle, search out fields full of bright red poppies – all perfect subjects for our photo competition ‘Window on Wildlife’.
