ACCESS TO NATURE

Introduction

Access to Nature is funded by the Big Lottery Fund's Changing Spaces programme.

The natural environment is essential to healthy communities and quality of life and should be accessible to everyone. The Access to Nature in Sussex Project will work with people from less affluent parts of Hastings and Brighton & Hove and offer a broad range of activities and encouragement to help them engage with nature and improve their local greenspace. The three year project will awaken beneficiaries’ interest and give them the confidence and skills to appreciate and enjoy the natural environment around them.

The three main partners; Sussex Wildlife Trust, Hastings Borough Council and Brighton & Hove City Council have worked together before and bring a wealth of experience and skills to the project.
