How the Day is Organised
Coaches will be met in the car park (on the south side of the road) at the arranged time and groups accompanied accross the road for an introductory talk in our Pump Barn. Toilet facilities are available. For woodland programmes the barn is used at lunchtime and bags may be safely left there for the day. For programmes out on the park children must take their bags with them. There is a camping barn nearer the coast which can be used for lunch. Toilet facilities are also available. At the end of the day the children may like to visit the Visitor Centre. Groups are accompanied across the road to their awaiting coach.
Staff in charge of visiting educational parties are advised that the Trust hold them fully responsible for the conduct of all members of their party during their visit. The school must provide accompanying adults to ensure at least one adult to ten children. Although our staff are first aid trained, schools are responsible for administering first aid for/to their children.
