There are lots of ways that you can enjoy, be inspired by and help local wildlife.
Volunteering
There are all sorts of volunteering opportunities ranging from practical conservation work on our reserves, to helping with family events & environmental education. The partnership between staff and volunteers is fundamental to the work of the Sussex Wildlife Trust.
Community Wildlife Projects
Sussex Wildlife Trust encourages community involvement and supports local action through a number of project across Sussex.
Pebsham Countryside Park Project based in Hastings, Gatwick Greenspace Project, in Crawley, Horley and Horsham, Access to Nature working with communities in Brighton and Hastings, and the Lewes Community Wildlife Project
Young People
For young people who want to get outside and get involved in protecting our local wildlife and its habitats, we run two groups Wildlife Rangers (12 - 16) and Conservation Rangers (16 - 25).
