WILDLIFE TRAVEL

WILDLIFE TRAVEL is the holiday company of The Wildlife Trusts, the UK's national conservation organisation. It was set up in 1988 to encourage good practice in ecotourism and to raise funds for nature conservation through the Wildlife Trusts to which all profits are donated. We specialise in organising holidays for those with wildlife and conservation interests in mind.

Over £100,000 has now been distributed amongst the Wildlife Trusts to support their conservation work. Sussex Wildlife Trust have been running holidays in partnership with Wildlife Travel since 2001 and all profits from these holidays go to SWT.

SWT and Wildlife Travel recognises that air travel is a significant and increasing contributor to global warming but also believes that quality ecotourism is essential to the conservation of species and habitats across the globe. It also understands that wildlife and landscape conservation in the UK cannot be achieved in isolation. Through developing links with overseas organisations, by visiting protected and wildlife rich areas, showing an interest in the local environment and working with local conservation groups, we also support conservation efforts abroad as well as raise awareness of the international nature of conservation.

Wildlife Travel offset all emissions from your flight by making payments to Climate Care. We also contribute to local conservation projects and to using local guides and organisations wherever possible.
