Wildlife expert, photographer and TV presenter Chris Packham was guest of honour at Sussex Wildlife Trust’s (SWT) AGM last week (Sat 31st October).
Over 200 members and supporters of the Trust turned out on a wet and windy morning to hear him speak about nature conservation. Chris also presented prizes to the winners of the Trust’s Living Landscapes Photographic competition.
Five members of Sussex Wildlife Trust’s recently formed Youth Council met Chris and talked to him about how they are helping to engage teenagers and young people with conservation issues.
During the break for lunch, Chris circulated amongst the crowd answering their questions about his current TV series Autumnwatch as well as his views on farming and species conservation.
The AGM was held at Adastra Hall, Keymer Road, Hassocks, West Sussex.
