Our Work
We manage nature reserves
We manage over 30 nature reserves where rare and threatened wildlife can be protected and can thrive.
We offer environmental education programmes
We offer environmental education at our centres, Woods Mill near Henfield, Seven Sisters Country Park near Seaford and the Ashdown Forest Centre near Forest Row. We also work with schools and run a Forest School programme.
We work at local, regional and national levels to help protect our environment and wildlife in Sussex
Information on the environmental and conservation issues and projects with a Sussex perspective. We also offer advice on how to comment on a planning issue in your area.
We work to show and teach people of all ages about the wildlife and countryside around them.
We run events and courses, walks and talks and lead practical volunteer tasks. We work in towns with people who don't live near a reserve, and provide activities for children and young people
