LEARN MORE ABOUT INSECT HOMES IN YOUR GARDEN.

Even in a small space you can create a mini ecosystem. One of the most fun ways to do this is to create a insect home. Insect homes offer a range of opportunities for food, warmth and shelter. If you make a very large wildlife tower if may even offer snug places for frogs or toads to hibernate.

What insect might use my home?

Insects such as ladybirds and lacewings benefit from insect homes as they offer cosy places to hibernate. These small abodes can also be used by solitary bees who will lay there eggs in the hollow bamboo canes leaving them to develop safely before they emerge next spring.
