There are about 56 species of orchid native to the UK and 23 of those can be found across Sussex Wildlife Trust’s nature reserves. These are some of the best reserves to visit in search of beautiful and elusive wild orchids.
Secrets Beneath the Sea is a bold new open-air exhibition on Brighton seafront, celebrating the extraordinary marine life found just off our coast. From 15 June to 19 July 2026 at the Brighton Seafront Gallery, it’s free to visit and open to everyone.
